A structured nine-step process governs every chrome concentrate engagement. The immediate next step is for the buyer to issue the FCO. Once received, we review it and revert with our position.
Buyer issues the Full Corporate Offer: grade, quantity, tonnage, price, delivery location, Incoterms, payment terms and instrument.
We review the FCO against available mines, specifications, tonnage and commercial requirements, then confirm whether it can be accommodated.
On preliminary alignment, both parties exchange company and KYC documentation and appropriate due diligence is conducted.
Product information, specifications and supporting documentation are made available for verification.
Product, pricing, tonnage, delivery terms and payment structure are agreed and the final commercial terms confirmed.
A Sale and Purchase Agreement is drafted, circulated for review and amendment, and executed by both parties.
The agreed guarantee, LC or approved payment mechanism is put in place per the contractual terms.
Independent sampling and inspection are conducted, followed by coordination of loading and transportation.
Delivery proceeds per the agreed Incoterms, with settlement handled as stipulated in the executed SPA.
Onboarded buyers track each of these steps live inside the client portal at business.ilbprojects.co.za, with documents, status and notes against every stage.
